Friday Night Drive In Movie

Guests of the Lancaster Host are able to enjoy a family

"Drive In Movie" in a golf cart on our golf course. 

Every Friday night in July and August our guests assemble at our pro shop one half hour prior to the sunset. They are  set up with a golf cart and they are lead on tour around the golf course. The tour includes winding along on our jogging trail, driving over our miniature covered bridge and ending up at Mulligans Snack Hut.

At  Mulligans the carts are parked facing our huge outdoor movie screen; the guests receive complimentary popcorn and have the opportunity to purchase soda and snack items before and during the movie. All the movies shown are family films such as Monster vs. Aliens, Cats & Dogs and Cars.

Great fun for the whole family, a unique amenity!

Thursday Night Decorate a Cupcake

Every Thursday night in the summer the younger guests of the Lancaster Host can decorate their own cupcake from 7pm to 9pm in our main lobby. The culinary team bakes two types of cupcakes, vanilla bean or Dutch chocolate, and makes butter cream icing in a variety of colors.

The Chef  also has a wide assortment of colored sprinkles and candies that we offer as  part of the decorating experience. A culinary team member displays all of the cupcakes, icings and decorations and assists the kids with picking a flavor of cupcake, color of icing and the types of sprinkles and candies to decorate their cupcake.

As an added bonus we supply each child with a paper hat and apron so they really feel like a true pastry artist. This  weekly event is another complimentary activity families enjoy while  vacationing at the Lancaster Host.
